If Tiger Woods’ issues were his private affair and no one’s business….why is he hiring a “spin doctor” ?

Today’s news says he is hiring a former Bush adviser to help “rehabilitate his public image.” What’s different about his PUBLIC IMAGE if he and his diehard fans keep repeating the mantra that it was only HIS PRIVATE BUSINESS? Why would he care about his “PUBLIC IMAGE?” How does a “private matter” affect a famous person’s public image? How did any of this private information ever BECOME public?

Because he NOW knows that his disgraceful behavior does affect how his sponsors and the public look at him.
